After a rather tough play, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Laurențiu Dragnea got a free kick in the 5th minute. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Astor Haimar put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Remie Kint. Codruț Hanganu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celio Velazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Astor Haimar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Astor Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remie Kint having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Celio Velazquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Codruț Hanganu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Haimar in the 23rd minute of play forced C.S.D Punta Ballena's goalkeeper Remie Kint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boguslaw Dziedelonis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Codruț Hanganu having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goal looked a bit too open when Boguslaw Dziedelonis came free, but Codruț Hanganu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Balint to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s goalkeeper Codruț Hanganu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, He Gang Jian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 55th match minute, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- made a substitution. Mugurel Nediu replaced He Gang Jian. The supporters of C.S.D Punta Ballena booed when White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. The supporters of C.S.D Punta Ballena booed when White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juanjo Carreño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ma Xiang Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remie Kint was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remie Kint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Astor Haimar's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Codruț Hanganu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ma Xiang Yang's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ma Xiang Yang got free with Codruț Hanganu in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ma Xiang Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
