The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Okoyomon Charles p'Bitek hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okoyomon Charles p'Bitek in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Lokomotivet Kamraterna's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Arraz came free, but Per Viklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, AFC United's Higinio Arraz got a free kick in the 17th minute. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Söder in the 20th minute of play. Pan Chao Yan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Wahlström came free, but Lei Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes AFC United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Szczepan Gargasz who took care of the corner kick. Per Viklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 42 minutes into the game, Lokomotivet Kamraterna's Okoyomon Charles p'Bitek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lei Bin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The AFC United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lokomotivet Kamraterna were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Eric Söder made the kick off in the second half. Per Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pan Chao Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC United were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Lokomotivet Kamraterna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jordi Scherz took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jordi Scherz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Per Viklund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Per Viklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Arraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Okoyomon Charles p'Bitek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotivet Kamraterna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okoyomon Charles p'Bitek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lokomotivet Kamraterna made a substitution. Enzo Pérez replaced Okoyomon Charles p'Bitek. Andries De Putter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AFC United's Lei Bin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Söder in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, AFC United's goal looked a bit too open when He Kuan Ning came free, but Lei Bin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, AFC United's Andries De Putter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per Viklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Per Viklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andries De Putter's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tipi Cazorla in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
