In the 16thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lokomotivet Kamraterna's Per Viklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petter Skarkman scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per Viklund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Petter Skarkman sped through Lokomotivet Kamraterna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Per Viklund. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henry Salkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lokomotivet Kamraterna getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Henry Salkvist hit a great ball. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Salkvist in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Protegéerna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xu Chen Jian was slow to take the kick. During this time Lokomotivet Kamraterna's players had a chance to rest. In the 57th minute Alfons Arenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Python in the 97th minute of play forced Lokomotivet Kamraterna's goalkeeper Per Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Protegéerna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
