Spectators: 8142 (Terracing: 6107, Seating: 1873, VIP seats: 162) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Dantae took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of AFC United booed when Stat Veritas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pepe Argento didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zeng Sang Chao during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 15 played minutes AFC United got a freekick which was hit by Zeng Sang Chao. 17 minutes into the match, Stat Veritas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Arraz came free, but Mauricio Erramun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Fernando Dantae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lei Bin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Dantae in the 25th minute of play forced AFC United's goalkeeper Lei Bin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30thth minute of the game Higinio Arraz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stat Veritas FC's Mauricio Erramun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lei Bin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Dantae's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Pepe Argento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stat Veritas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Argento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lei Bin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mauricio Erramun came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by AFC United's Higinio Arraz. But to his dismay, Higinio Arraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lei Bin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Argento in the 48th minute of play. In the 49th minute Stat Veritas FC were awarded a corner. Johan Gelin went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Stat Veritas FC's Avram Balțoi to fire away a dangerous shot which Lei Bin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Arraz to strike the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Erramun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Arraz in the 60th minute of the match. Stat Veritas FC made a substitution. Roger Gili replaced Pepe Argento. Stat Veritas FC's Ziemowit Dembowski was substituted for Fernando Dantae. In the 69th minute, Faustino Asprilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Stat Veritas FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Johan Gelin hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Ziemowit Dembowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stat Veritas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Ziemowit Dembowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeng Sang Chao kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avram Balțoi got free with Lei Bin in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Ziemowit Dembowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lei Bin. That made the score 2-3 in the 93 minute of play. In the 99th minute Andries De Putter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Stat Veritas FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stat Veritas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
