The CSD Concepción fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Podgoreanu should have stopped the shot. After 23 minutes CSD Concepción's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacek Zielinski who took care of the corner kick. Emanuel Podgoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarkko Laatikainen, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Özbek in the 40th minute of play forced CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Emanuel Podgoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CSD Concepción getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Julio Roca hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bir Garip Oyun's Arda Güler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Podgoreanu. That made the score 2-7 after 92 minutes of play. Bir Garip Oyun's Seyfullah Acarbay was substituted for Olgierd Niewiadomski. CSD Concepción's Ivo Männik got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bir Garip Oyun's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
