Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Juliusz Gdowik managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bálint Kőváry in the 15 minute of the game. Julio Falcioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Giliusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cardo Ruso Cordobés's Julio Falcioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Giliusson in the 24th minute of play. Julio Falcioni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Giliusson in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Franky Dhondt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
