Federico Kalinowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Valentin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Leandro in the 14th minute of the match. Valentin Bernal came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Hernán Leandro. But to his dismay, Hernán Leandro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hildeberto Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Valentin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Fastesson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Hildeberto Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Norton kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Valentin Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Fastesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Long Feng got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Hildeberto Carvalho. Valentin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Fastesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Fastesson in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bengt-Rune Fastesson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. ACF Fiorentina's Martin Vellito was substituted for Hernán Leandro. The throw-in from Hu Xi in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Soin Buisan. Maximino Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Valentin Bernal made a huge save. Maximino Cabezon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Federico Kalinowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vahit Ergüç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Kalinowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Milko, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute, Soin Buisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Heintje Koehler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hu Xi in the 87 minute of the game. After 92 played minutes ACF Fiorentina got a freekick which was hit by Hu Xi. ACF Fiorentina were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
