Cihan Zafer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Austin in the 22nd minute of the match. Clemente Mancaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Veerman's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Bernardino Abadie kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Joaquin Austin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cihan Zafer having to make a save. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s attentive Caroll Baskin managed to snatch the ball when Bernardino Abadie made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atletic Elooo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Clemente Mancaş, was totally fooled by ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Primitivo Balesio, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henk Veerman to make the kick off.
