In the 3rd minute Edmondo Del Monte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sitthachat Jampeehom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Ingvar Nykvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Zuasnabar. 14 minutes into the game, Miguel Zuasnabar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ingvar Nykvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Santiago Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sitthachat Jampeehom was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Silva came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Santiago Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sitthachat Jampeehom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Silva in the 26th minute of play. Santiago Silva took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sitthachat Jampeehom. Sitthachat Jampeehom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmondo Del Monte in the 44th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Edmondo Del Monte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sitthachat Jampeehom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Zuasnabar to strike the kick off in the second half. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Del Monte in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom got control of the ball when Santiago Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute ΠΑΟΚ FC were awarded a corner. Björn Kamp went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ΠΑΟΚ FC's corner Santiago Gentiletti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sitthachat Jampeehom quite easily take care of the ball. ΠΑΟΚ FC were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Gavião Kyikatejê's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Björn Kamp took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Petros Mirtsos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 66 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ingvar Nykvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miguel Zuasnabar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ingvar Nykvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ingvar Nykvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 72nd minute of play. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Sotiris Zacharakis took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sitthachat Jampeehom. Sitthachat Jampeehom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Zacharakis in the 81st minute of play. With an all-out effort, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Sitthachat Jampeehom threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sotiris Zacharakis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. João Vítor Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sotiris Zacharakis in the 90th minute of play. Sitthachat Jampeehom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sotiris Zacharakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ingvar Nykvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodney Lindov went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. ΠΑΟΚ FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
