Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Szczecin from getting a goal against them. A throw-in in the 9th minute of the game was made by Arvid Bodin with Wessel Bos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 10 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Major came free, but Emilio Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, KN ZGORZELEC's Arvid Bodin got a free kick in the 12th minute. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Major in the 13th minute of play. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Guter in the 23rd minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Major took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Shepherd. Emilio Shepherd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sebastião Xoxe made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Natalio Guter sent off a good shot on target. Norbert Major received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Emilio Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wessel Bos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Sebastião Xoxe made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Guter came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Xoxe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Borys Karaszkiewicz in the 45th minute. After the first half Pogoń Szczecin were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wessel Bos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Wessel Bos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Major in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in KN ZGORZELEC's zone, Norbert Major stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Shepherd came out of the goal and Norbert Major tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Donzel to maneuver through the defense. In the 61stth minute of the game Wessel Bos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Major in the 65th minute of play. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wessel Bos, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Norbert Major hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Norbert Major managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Szczecin's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Major was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Norbert Major could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Emilio Shepherd however easily saved by the left post. Sebastião Xoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wessel Bos in the 75th minute of the match. Norbert Major recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Norbert Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Shepherd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wessel Bos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Sebastião Xoxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd got control of the ball when Stefanos Stefanopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 95th minute, Natalio Guter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KN ZGORZELEC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
