After the first half Pendex were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Leguizamón made a kick off. Rafael Nisio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lobo Bicherakhov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Rafael Nisio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 54th playminute. The Pendex supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pendex would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
