Spectators: 7947 (Terracing: 5961, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 158) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vaggelis Pavlidis made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the game, Gavino Demesio threw the ball into play from the sideline. KN ZGORZELEC's Gilbert Gotfryd quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vęgoria Team's Bogdan Pilarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Guter in the 8th minute of play. Emilio Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Vaggelis Pavlidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bogdan Pilarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Guter in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the game Emre Demir made a throw-in which Iwan Hodyl played forward. Bogdan Pilarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Guter in the 18th minute of play. Vaggelis Pavlidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Shepherd having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Vęgoria Team's Emilio Shepherd threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vaggelis Pavlidis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emiliano Felice struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Bogdan Pilarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KN ZGORZELEC. Emilio Shepherd came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Vęgoria Team's Vaggelis Pavlidis. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Pavlidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vaggelis Pavlidis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 38 minutes Vęgoria Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariusz Kaleta who took care of the corner kick. KN ZGORZELEC's Mariusz Kaleta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bogdan Pilarski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. KN ZGORZELEC's attentive Luis María Ogazón managed to snatch the ball when Alf Palm made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After 44 played minutes KN ZGORZELEC got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Valladares. Emilio Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KN ZGORZELEC's Gwidon Furtok got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Guter was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vaggelis Pavlidis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vęgoria Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Vaggelis Pavlidis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vaggelis Pavlidis came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Vęgoria Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaggelis Pavlidis couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in KN ZGORZELEC's zone, Gavino Demesio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emilio Shepherd came out of the goal and Gavino Demesio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 75th minute of play forced KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Shepherd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 77th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wessel Bos in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Pilarski saved Vęgoria Team from getting behind. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Bogdan Pilarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wessel Bos. In the 94th match minute, Vęgoria Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Demesio to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of KN ZGORZELEC booed when Vęgoria Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. KN ZGORZELEC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
