Oliverio Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Oliverio Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Marinho in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. 白桦旭 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Liljeström. Dani Hernández was a little too slow when Mats Liljeström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Chivos de Punto Fijo's 白桦旭 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joel Carli in the 27 minute of the game. Oliverio Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Dani Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, 白桦旭 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar Marinho in the 44th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Joel Carli in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chivos de Punto Fijo's 白桦旭. In the 48th minute Saturnino Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Hernández saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Nilmar Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Oliverio Kahn made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Chivos de Punto Fijo's Nilmar Marinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oliverio Kahn. That made the score 1-2 after 56 minutes of play. Nilmar Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Ezequiel Lavezzi was substituted for Benedito Camargo. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka was substituted for Saturnino Romo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Marchefka in the 65th minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chivos de Punto Fijo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
