Tomáš Houdek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's Fabricio Jakes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomáš Houdek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bernardo Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Lex Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Novaes couldn't finish the play. Otmar Schovánek kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Tomáš Houdek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Jakes in the 32nd minute of play. Osvaldo Vergaray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Novaes in the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Jakes in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomáš Houdek saved Lex Academy from getting behind. After 43 minutes Falconara Albanese's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roman Jursa who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Txomin in the 46th minute of play forced Lex Academy's goalkeeper Tomáš Houdek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Casimiro Txomin was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Bernardo Novaes sped through Falconara Albanese's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Osvaldo Vergaray. Falconara Albanese's Narciso Jacob quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roman Jursa, made in the 63rd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Bernardo Novaes notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Falconara Albanese's Osvaldo Vergaray. Osvaldo Vergaray was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomáš Houdek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Lex Academy defense, Modesto Socorro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomáš Houdek. The Lex Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomáš Houdek should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lex Academy had played much better football throughout.
