Chiquinho Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Gines's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Riley Trotter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Creekers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 21st minute, Leevi Kampman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the game, Arrecifes's Marcial Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jude Crocker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Gines. 27 minutes in the game, Riley Trotter dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Arrecifes from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ksawery Tyszka got free with Chiquinho Romero in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Trotter in the 37th minute of the match. The Creekers fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Creekers's Riley Trotter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arrecifes's Hugo Nicholas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leevi Kampman in the 42 minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, Marcial Navarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Creekers's Jude Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Navarro in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Ladislao Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jude Crocker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Trotter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Riley Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arrecifes's Gilberto Jakobe was substituted for Marcial Navarro. In the 67th minute of the match Creekers got a corner. Arrecifes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leevi Kampman ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 69th minute Ladislao Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquinho Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riley Trotter, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Riley Trotter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Chiquinho Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute Ksawery Tyszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Creekers's Dalton Flaherty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chiquinho Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riley Trotter in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Creekers had played much better football throughout.
