Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Marquez in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ellis Schenck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ellis Schenck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danell Mackiathan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Zlatan BK's Danell Mackiathan in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Karl-Oskar Kinnman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Bomba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Zlatan BK's zone, Alvaro Errando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ellis Schenck came out of the goal and Alvaro Errando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurício Bomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danell Mackiathan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Danell Mackiathan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Ellis Schenck managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when AC LeX Luthor's Carlos Alberto Marquez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 31 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Danell Mackiathan came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Alvaro Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ellis Schenck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zlatan BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pancho Branca was slow to take the kick. During this time AC LeX Luthor's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danell Mackiathan in the 41st minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Guib hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Zlatan BK's Ellis Schenck got control of the ball when Carlos Alberto Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Olle Olsson charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olle Olsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 51st match minute, Zlatan BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olle Olsson to maneuver through the defense. The Zlatan BK fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Zlatan BK's Danell Mackiathan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Padro in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Cod Whatman replaced Carlos Alberto Marquez. After 62 played minutes AC LeX Luthor got a freekick which was hit by Pancho Branca. Maurício Bomba was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Danell Mackiathan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danell Mackiathan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Zlatan BK's Ubaldo Padro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurício Bomba. That made the score 0-3 after 70 minutes of play. After 76 minutes of play, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ellis Schenck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ellis Schenck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 79th minute of play. Cod Whatman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 86 minutes, Peep Pronk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC LeX Luthor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peep Pronk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 minutes, Pancho Branca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC LeX Luthor and the Zlatan BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Pancho Branca got a free kick in the 89th minute. Albert Linberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
