Spectators: 8429 (Terracing: 6323, Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 168) Arrecifes's Marcial Navarro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Gong Qi Fan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero. Chiquinho Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 11th minute of the match. If Marcial Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Gong Qi Fan came free, but Chiquinho Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Playa Malvín got a freekick which was hit by Joel Wigghers. With an all-out effort, Arrecifes's Nils Elmhuus threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcial Navarro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 24 minutes into the game, Gong Qi Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Chiquinho Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute Gong Qi Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Navarro in the 28th minute of play. Carlos Eufrasio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Elmhuus having to interfere. Chiquinho Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fausto Jayaga hit a great ball. After the first half Playa Malvín were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gong Qi Fan to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Gong Qi Fan notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero. Chiquinho Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chiquinho Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan in the 61st minute of play. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Playa Malvín's Sandu Mândrilă to fire away a dangerous shot which Chiquinho Romero despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Playa Malvín were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Arrecifes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stelian Murgu took the corner. After taking down the ball on Playa Malvín's corner Stelian Murgu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chiquinho Romero quite easily take care of the ball. Stelian Murgu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Chiquinho Romero made a huge save. Quinto Ampudia might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chiquinho Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quinto Ampudia ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goalkeeper Chiquinho Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quinto Ampudia. Quinto Ampudia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
