Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcial Navarro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcial Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jude Crocker having to make a save. Jude Crocker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chiquinho Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylvesteri Valkama, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 played minutes Arrecifes got a freekick which was hit by David Tomi. Riley Trotter kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Skender Andonov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jude Crocker skillfully saved the ball. Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riley Trotter in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arrecifes's Prudencio Quintyn got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Ladislao Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creekers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chiquinho Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riley Trotter in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's Marcial Navarro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jude Crocker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Riley Trotter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Creekers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 41st minute Riley Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes, Riley Trotter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Creekers and the Arrecifes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Riley Trotter hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riley Trotter in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leevi Kampman got free with Chiquinho Romero in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Riley Trotter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquinho Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Arrecifes's Chiquinho Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riley Trotter in the 65th minute of play. Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Gines, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skender Andonov lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Arrecifes's Anier Aballe was substituted for Ayi Sarumpaet. Arrecifes's Gilberto Jakobe was substituted for Marcial Navarro. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Arrecifes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Creekers:s goal. In the 70th minute, the referee gave Creekers a penalty. Riley Trotter looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Chiquinho Romero. In the 74th minute, Gilberto Jakobe made a precise shot to the right of Jude Crocker. Creekers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jude Crocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Jakobe in the 79th minute of play. When Creekers's Ladislao Gines in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arrecifes's goalie prevented a goal. After 83 minutes Arrecifes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leevi Kampman who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Creekers's Felo Riquelme getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Arrecifes's David Tomi got a free kick in the 94th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reynaldo Driscoll in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquinho Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
