Thiago Silvan was slow to take the kick. During this time Gracie Barra's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Gracie Barra's Thiago Silvan to fire away a dangerous shot which Frank Frankfurter despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 9th minute, Tytus Orling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Haaland in the 10th minute of play. If Augusto Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jago Štriker fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roni Ronaldinho in the 24th minute of play. Frank Frankfurter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jago Štriker's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinson Haaland in the 30th minute of play. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Orling in the 32nd minute of play. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Lucjan Falkiewicz was substituted for Tytus Orling. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Haaland in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Edinson Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 52nd minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Frankfurter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinson Haaland got free with Falcão Cunha in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Frankfurter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinson Haaland had several of the Gracie Barra's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Falcão Cunha as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gracie Barra's Murphey Shipman was substituted for Pedro Velloso. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edinson Haaland in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Cunha saved Gracie Barra from getting behind. Long Xiang Yuan hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Frank Frankfurter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo de Queirós in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinson Haaland in the 82nd minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Edinson Haaland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Falcão Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ke Feng Zhen in the 92nd minute of play. Frank Frankfurter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo de Queirós in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chinese CJ Youth Academy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
