Ronaldo Cristi took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitomir Starokin. Vitomir Starokin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Jacinto came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Ronaldo Cristi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitomir Starokin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitomir Starokin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darío Benedetto in the 29th minute of the match. Severo Danel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ismael Furman made a huge save. CSKA-LULIN's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niklas Örnberg in the 33rd minute. After taking down the ball on CSKA-LULIN's corner Niklas Örnberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ismael Furman quite easily take care of the ball. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mito Kulov in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Ronaldo Cristi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Equipo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, Equipo's goal looked a bit too open when Mito Kulov came free, but Ismael Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, CSKA-LULIN's goal looked a bit too open when Darío Benedetto came free, but Vitomir Starokin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Equipo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Equipo's Harun Elçin was substituted for Darío Benedetto. Pietro Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitomir Starokin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute of the game Kang Zheng Yu made a throw-in which Ištvan Ceaușescu played forward. Ismael Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Ismael Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Equipo's Ismael Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Badaz Tacco in the 71st minute of play. Ismael Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mito Kulov in the 81st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Equipo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
