DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting a goal against them. Ismael Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koča Kafarov in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes Equipo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Fabiano Castro who took care of the corner kick. Charlie Grantham made a great header on DREAM TEAM WORLD's corner, it was just that Equipo's Ismael Furman managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 18th minute Elpidio Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Cristi came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darío Benedetto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Darío Benedetto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lu Zhen Sheng made a huge save. Ronaldo Cristi scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the DREAM TEAM WORLD defense, Darío Benedetto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lu Zhen Sheng. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lu Zhen Sheng should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng got control of the ball when Darío Benedetto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Cristi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lu Zhen Sheng. Ronaldo Cristi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koča Kafarov to strike the kick off in the second half. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Cristi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Koča Kafarov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koča Kafarov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Equipo fans cheered their team off the field, for while DREAM TEAM WORLD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
