Eugeniusz Sanocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Aristide Beșliu made a huge save. Cândido Cabral was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. FC Fura Balizas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Long Gang Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Manuel Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Håkan Šuker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Šuker in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Long Gang Sen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Håkan Šuker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Long Gang Sen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Fura Balizas defense, Håkan Šuker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Long Gang Sen. The FC Fura Balizas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Long Gang Sen should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Honung's Aristide Beșliu got control of the ball when Eugeniusz Sanocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Fura Balizas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gusmão Benevides in the 37th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gusmão Benevides got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aristide Beșliu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 39 minutes into the game, Eugeniusz Sanocki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aristide Beșliu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Long Gang Sen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Šuker in the 42nd minute of play. Aristide Beșliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugeniusz Sanocki in the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugeniusz Sanocki made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Long Gang Sen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Håkan Šuker got free with Long Gang Sen in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute Eugeniusz Sanocki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristide Beșliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honung made a substitution. King Puck replaced Juan Manuel Vargas. Honung's Simon Lertora was substituted for Håkan Šuker. After taking down the ball on Honung's corner Johan Kilström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Long Gang Sen quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Gusmão Benevides managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Fura Balizas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gusmão Benevides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristide Beșliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristide Beșliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gusmão Benevides in the 74th minute of play. Long Gang Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Lertora, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 95 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Lertora came free, but Long Gang Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
