A nice corner shot did that Aleksander Kissel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnold Szuper quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FA Sandtown were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Szombathely Squirrels's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ludomil Narbut took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Szombathely Squirrels's goalie and right to Tonko Jelovica. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Szombathely Squirrels's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 13th minute, Aleksander Kissel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnold Szuper was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 16th minute Sebastian Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnold Szuper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Kissel in the 32nd minute of the match. If Aleksander Kissel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Balázs Pálinkás made a kick off. Aleksander Kissel hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Szombathely Squirrels from getting a goal against them. FA Sandtown made a substitution. Lech Bartoszek replaced Giovani Correia. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Arnold Szuper managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Benoit Van Bettenrode's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnold Szuper was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Benoit Van Bettenrode who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Arnold Szuper when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Benoit Van Bettenrode received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnold Szuper came out and tried to block the shot, but Benoit Van Bettenrode slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 85th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Larsson came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Benoit Van Bettenrode reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnold Szuper. The goal made the score 0-5. The throw-in from Ferenc Jászberényi in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FA Sandtown's Witomir Domamir. Benoit Van Bettenrode's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Szuper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when FA Sandtown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. FA Sandtown played a much better game than Szombathely Squirrels and deserved their victory. The Szombathely Squirrels players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
