After 3 played minutes Szombathely Squirrels got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Jászberényi. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dušan Vlahović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Isăilă in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Isăilă in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. Arnold Szuper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Isăilă's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Manuel Isăilă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Arnold Szuper when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Isăilă in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. 22 minutes into the game, Manuel Isăilă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arnold Szuper was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Manuel Isăilă managed to get in a good position for a shot. ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Isăilă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnold Szuper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 29th minute of play. Dušan Vlahović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnold Szuper having to interfere. Gusztáv Győrffy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Manuel Isăilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Isăilă in the 36th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Manuel Isăilă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Manuel Isăilă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnold Szuper. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. If Manuel Isăilă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Isăilă. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dušan Vlahović made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szombathely Squirrels's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leo Billock was slow to take the kick. During this time ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s players had a chance to rest. If Ştefan Iacobucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 55th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Szombathely Squirrels. Manuel Isăilă shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Argir Stariradev, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper. 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
