But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kieran Listkowski couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Olaf Cebula ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Vachon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olaf Cebula made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olaf Cebula got free with Roman Vachon in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kang Ying Hai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Rafe in the 55th minute of the match.
