Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkın Öğüç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilton Fontes struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Ariel Leguizamón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capibaribe Stars. Robinho Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ariel Leguizamón made a huge save. But to his dismay, Joakim Forss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ariel Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atalay Turkay, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Arkın Öğüç came free, but Thomás Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Henry Costa made the kick off in the second half. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ivan Turina´s ☆ Väddö AIK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
