The audience thought a goal was coming when Jordan Henderson got free with Thomás Toscano in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Henderson in the 22nd minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Thomás Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lothar Matthäus hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Capibaribe Stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Jordan Henderson scored to the left of an out of position Thomás Toscano, making the score, 1-0. Daniel Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Błαck Bułłs MZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Christiano Moura in the 33rd minute. Capibaribe Stars's Thomás Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fernando Díaz in the 35th minute of play. Błαck Bułłs MZ's Thiago Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atalay Turkay in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Błαck Bułłs MZ's Dorukhan Turalp got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Thomás Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Manex, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute of the match Capibaribe Stars got a corner. Błαck Bułłs MZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Atalay Turkay ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 59th minute of the game Jurand Nowakowski made a throw-in which Jordan Henderson played forward. Thiago Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Costa in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Błαck Bułłs MZ's Thiago Domingues got control of the ball when Henry Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ulises Manex came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Błαck Bułłs MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Manex couldn't finish the play. Błαck Bułłs MZ made a substitution. Kang Chao Hong replaced Jurand Nowakowski. 77 minutes into the match, Błαck Bułłs MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Costa came free, but Thiago Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Henry Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thiago Domingues. The goal made the score 1-1. Thomás Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Manex, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the Capibaribe Stars defense, Jordan Henderson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomás Toscano. The Capibaribe Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Toscano should have stopped the shot. Błαck Bułłs MZ's Thiago Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Błαck Bułłs MZ from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Jordan Henderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Błαck Bułłs MZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
