But to his dismay, Venancio Prejun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gianluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute of the game Grzegorz Sokolski made a throw-in which Venancio Prejun played forward. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Võsandi in the 43rd minute of play.

Les Tigres's Ömer-Asaf Güneş was substituted for Venancio Prejun. The wind increased when Ömer-Asaf Güneş made the kick off in the second half.
