Mihnea Zamfir made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pan Zhi Peng immediately put the ball in play. Walery Balkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Sousa in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Sousa came free, but Walery Balkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Fran Abasalo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Capibaribe Stars's Atalay Turkay quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thomás Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Daval in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donovan Daval in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomás Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Daniel Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Daniel Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walery Balkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Daniel Sousa made the kick off in the second half. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's Walery Balkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Sousa in the 51st minute of play. With his leg Walery Balkiewicz managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Capibaribe Stars's Atalay Turkay fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atalay Turkay was slow to take the kick. During this time Capibaribe Stars's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Atalay Turkay got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Walery Balkiewicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thomás Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Laurendi in the 70th minute of the match. Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Capibaribe Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hipolito Laurendi took the corner. After taking down the ball on Los Ángeles de Charlie 2's corner Hipolito Laurendi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomás Toscano quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walery Balkiewicz having to make a save. Capibaribe Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atalay Turkay in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute Daniel Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Balkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Fran Abasalo hit a great ball. Victorio Otoniel's late challenge caught a Capibaribe Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorio Otoniel helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Los Ángeles de Charlie 2 got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Otoniel. Atalay Turkay struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Walery Balkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capibaribe Stars.
