An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Bot in the 38th minute of play forced Ekskluzywni menele's goalkeeper Radomir Domaradzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 50th minute of the match Go Ahead Eagles got a corner. Ekskluzywni menele's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cássio Gonçalves ran over to the corner to take the kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wang Hong Le to make the kick off.
