The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Ruisko got free with Olimpiu Târlea in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpiu Târlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Fred, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Felix Grigoroiu hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Octav Cordescu. 17 minutes into the match, Kraig Fred notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea. Olimpiu Târlea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Tărău in the 21st minute of play. A hard shot 22 in the game by Cornelio Ruisko from a close distance when the talented Olimpiu Târlea managed to make a qualified save. A4p FC Gad's players were relieved. 25 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Olimpiu Târlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Kraig Fred made a precise shot to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. A4p FC Gad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cornelio Ruisko who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Olimpiu Târlea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Tărău in the 32nd minute of the match. Cornelio Ruisko might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olimpiu Târlea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Ruisko ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the A4p FC Gad defense, Kraig Fred kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. The A4p FC Gad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olimpiu Târlea should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes A4p FC Gad got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Dragalina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 41st minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Olimpiu Târlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kraig Fred made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Kraig Fred had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olimpiu Târlea. A4p FC Gad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kraig Fred was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Ruisko in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Kraig Fred ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olimpiu Târlea was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When Kraig Fred came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Estudiantes de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kraig Fred couldn't finish the play. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Lucrețiu Nastac replaced Nechifor Sorin. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Concetto Trasatti replaced Cornelio Ruisko. In the 65th minute Traian Blăniță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Târlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Grigoroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olimpiu Târlea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Felix Grigoroiu hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Olimpiu Târlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Trasatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olimpiu Târlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Beltza in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the game, Concetto Trasatti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Olimpiu Târlea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petru Tărău. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Estudiantes de América had played much better football throughout.
