The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Daniel Kieca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dé Töpper showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Fırat Aytekin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Montez in the 9th minute of the match. Daniel Kieca made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Tiburcio Marques sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute Tiburcio Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé Töpper in the 15th minute of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Nildo Rosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Kieca in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Russówek's Daniel Kieca got control of the ball when Doğuhan Alpaslan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiburcio Marques who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Kieca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Russówek's Daniel Kieca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Russówek from getting a goal against them. In the 36thth minute of the game Gregorio Montez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Fırat Aytekin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fırat Aytekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gregorio Montez's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes of play, Russówek's Gregorio Montez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fırat Aytekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 42nd minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Russówek got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Montez. With a little luck, Russówek's Daniel Kieca got control of the ball when Tiburcio Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line.

S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Dan Waller was substituted for Dé Töpper. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Montez made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 64th minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Daniel Kieca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Marques came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Tiburcio Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Kieca was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Russówek made a substitution. Ryszard Skonieczny replaced Salvador Quezada. Russówek's Zbigniew Zabrzeski was substituted for Gustaw Tomporowski. Ryszard Skonieczny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Fırat Aytekin made a huge save. Fırat Aytekin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Zabrzeski in the 81st minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Traczewski to maneuver through the defense. Russówek's Daniel Kieca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Marques in the 83rd minute of play. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nildo Rosa in the 84th minute. Ryszard Skonieczny received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fırat Aytekin came out and tried to block the shot, but Ryszard Skonieczny slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Zbigniew Zabrzeski came free, but Fırat Aytekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The S.C. Corinthians Paulista fans cheered their team off the field, for while Russówek had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
