In the 12th minute, Wiktor Falkiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kania Gostyń fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tolek Kiszkiel made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Wiktor Falkiewicz sent off a good shot on target. Boruc Furgal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Maxim in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Olimpia HSB got a corner. Kania Gostyń's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Morientes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Olimpia HSB's corner Fernando Morientes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boruc Furgal quite easily take care of the ball. Boruc Furgal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Czeszejko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolek Kiszkiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavius Beca in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alessio Mao in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tolek Kiszkiel saved Olimpia HSB from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Balaban Gazel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tolek Kiszkiel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 39 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Mao came free, but Tolek Kiszkiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Olimpia HSB getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fernando Morientes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Kania Gostyń's Papo Seco got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Czeszejko was the one to do the kick off. Boruc Furgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 55th minute of play. Tolek Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Flavius Beca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Kania Gostyń defense, Fabian Czeszejko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boruc Furgal. The Kania Gostyń fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boruc Furgal should have stopped the shot. Olimpia HSB made a substitution. Zbyszko Skorny replaced Artur Walczak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Pietrowiak in the 77th minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Boruc Furgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Alessio Mao notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Olimpia HSB's Tolek Kiszkiel. Tolek Kiszkiel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Morientes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Furgal having to interfere. Kania Gostyń's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
