With an all-out effort, ADM Taquaras's Nils-Erik Jonsson threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denílson Tepedino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Bermudez in the 12th minute of play. Denílson Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Jonsson made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, Uriel Bermudez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Moreno. ADM Taquaras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Bermudez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When Celsinho Perez fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ADM Taquaras's protests and gave Celsinho Perez a yellow card for diving instead.

55 minutes into the match, Med Gang FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Nils-Erik Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Bermudez in the 56th minute of play. Denílson Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Erik Jonsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Erik Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liam de Almeida in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute of the match, Fransesco Lindwall got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeremias Moreno was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 81 minutes into the game, Med Gang FC's Hubert Valler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Nestor Soeiro replaced Cesar Quinto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 88th minute of play forced Med Gang FC's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Valler in the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Nestor Soeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Erik Jonsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Med Gang FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
