Spectators: 9175 (Terracing: 6883, Seating: 2110, VIP seats: 182) Alessio Mao made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Éric Cantona came free, but Boruc Furgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Dziuma, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist got control of the ball when Radowit Dziuma tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Jakub Ziombkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Furgal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Mao, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 18th minute Flavius Beca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boruc Furgal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Barragan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Mao, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Sebastian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Beca in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éric Cantona in the 33rd minute of play forced Kania Gostyń's goalkeeper Boruc Furgal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Éric Cantona elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Inter de Guayaquil FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Humberto Barragan hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Kania Gostyń got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Motta. In the 46th minute, Éric Cantona made a precise shot to the right of Boruc Furgal. Kania Gostyń's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

Inter de Guayaquil FC made a substitution. Jörn Svartengren replaced Jakub Ziombkowski. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörn Svartengren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alessio Mao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jörn Svartengren took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Boruc Furgal to make any attempt to save it. Sebastian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Beca in the 64th minute of play. After 66 minutes of play, Kania Gostyń's Alessio Mao made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Hellkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Kania Gostyń's Papo Seco was substituted for Alin Niculiță. Kania Gostyń's Lucjan Waselewicz was substituted for Radowit Dziuma. Sebastian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucjan Waselewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Jörn Svartengren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boruc Furgal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Boruc Furgal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Svartengren's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Waselewicz in the 82nd minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiktor Falkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Boruc Furgal was a little too slow when Jörn Svartengren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-6. The Kania Gostyń supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Inter de Guayaquil FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Inter de Guayaquil FC.
