Bloodthirsty FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villaverde Celeste Clube the free kick. Helge Tholsson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Aleksander Smefeldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilton Berger went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Cabezudo in the 16th minute of play. Gunnar Björnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Geovanni Paranaense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Villaverde Celeste Clube from getting a goal against them. Gunnar Björnberg in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovanni Paranaense, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Cabezudo in the 27th minute of play forced Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Aleksander Smefeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Villaverde Celeste Clube getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vitinho Garcia hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Cabezudo came free, but Aleksander Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Santiago Cabezudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, Fredrik Mårtensson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Vitinho Garcia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Aleksander Smefeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuliano David in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giuliano David was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Cabezudo came free, but Aleksander Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Villaverde Celeste Clube's Santiago Cabezudo in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Frederico Godoi fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villaverde Celeste Clube's protests and gave Frederico Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Frederico Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Göran Ekelund's late challenge caught a Villaverde Celeste Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Göran Ekelund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Göran Ekelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 77 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Göran Ekelund. Santiago Cabezudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksander Smefeldt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Villaverde Celeste Clube got a freekick which was hit by Vitinho Garcia. Aleksander Smefeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Berger in the 84th minute of the match. When Gunnar Björnberg came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Bloodthirsty FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunnar Björnberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Björnberg in the 91st minute of play forced Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Geovanni Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Cabezudo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Aleksander Smefeldt made a huge save. Frederico Godoi was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Bloodthirsty FC booed when Villaverde Celeste Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Villaverde Celeste Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
