Alf Eliasson's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Divina Comédia FC's Váldson Lopes tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aleksander Smefeldt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristiano Furtado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavinho Hermes got free with Aleksander Smefeldt in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute, Dorian Valladares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Divina Comédia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
