The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jonatan Felipo made the kick off in the second half. When Zuberbühler FC's Apolo Abeitia in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Basilio Justin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 79th minute, Gustavo Cordaryal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Macias in the 80th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Basilio Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Justin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Cordaryal in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Mario Laurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atlético Atlanta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
