With a little luck, Winthont FC's Lucas Uebels got control of the ball when Petruț Dugulescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Petruț Dugulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winthont FC's Lucas Uebels was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Petruț Dugulescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucas Uebels, passed just outside the right post. Roger Wijngaart charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Wijngaart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The corner ended in Ronny Hendriks almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ilie Brumaru did a great save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Wijngaart to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Vonk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Dugulescu came free, but Lucas Uebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Niels Schirring's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilie Brumaru was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Winthont FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
