Vitor José made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Roger Wijngaart sent off a good shot on target. Vitor José showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niels Schirring in the 10th minute of the match. After 12 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Jordy Baars. 16 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Gaspar came free, but Lucas Uebels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Winthont FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Carlos Alberto Viana took the corner. Winthont FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
