DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Adam Rednic hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Club Atlético Atlanta's Jonatan Felipo in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The player immediately received a yellow card. 31 minutes into the game, Adam Rednic recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Basilio Justin. Adam Rednic showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 36th minute of the match Eustaquio Gerazan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horea Hurmuzache skillfully saved the ball. After 38 minutes, Emanuel Ardeleanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DINAMO and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. 40 minutes into the game, Toader Berbec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. After 40 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Toader Berbec. After 43 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Zafiu. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Emanuel Ardeleanu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Club Atlético Atlanta's Dionisio Monico got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jonatan Felipo made the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Felipos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Horea Hurmuzache to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 57 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Felipo came free, but Horea Hurmuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Horea Hurmuzache managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Club Atlético Atlanta's Jonatan Felipo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jonatan Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save DINAMO from getting a goal against them. Club Atlético Atlanta made a substitution. Leonardo Paulin replaced Joaquin Fonso. Club Atlético Atlanta's Elpidio Shantala was substituted for Bernardo Ranolfo. Jonatan Felipo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Leonardo Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. When Remus Elisei fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Remus Elisei a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Elisei to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Monico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 91 in the game by Jonatan Felipo from a close distance when the talented Horea Hurmuzache managed to make a qualified save. DINAMO's players were relieved.
