The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Roger Wijngaart tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aleksander Smefeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Floris Talsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Bo-Erik Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Floris Talsma in the 16th minute of play. Roger Wijngaarts short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Aleksander Smefeldt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Peter Pihlgren fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bloodthirsty FC's protests and gave Peter Pihlgren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when Bloodthirsty FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Wijngaart scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aleksander Smefeldt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt got control of the ball when Roger Wijngaart tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Vonk in the 29th minute of play. Helge Tholsson charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helge Tholsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Helge Tholsson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Roger Wijngaart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bloodthirsty FC's Aleksander Smefeldt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bo-Erik Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Uebels having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Floris Talsma came free, but Aleksander Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bloodthirsty FC booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tjeerd Jonkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute of the match Peter Pihlgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Uebels showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Wijngaart was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Bloodthirsty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Wijngaart came free, but Aleksander Smefeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Ronny Hendriks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bloodthirsty FC's Henrik Brander got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ronny Hendriks took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aleksander Smefeldt. Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute Floris Talsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Smefeldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Brander's late challenge caught a Winthont FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Brander helped the player get up and apologised. Henrik Brander kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Aleksander Smefeldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronny Hendriks went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Bo-Erik Nilsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Uebels. The goal made the score 3-1. Aleksander Smefeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Wijngaart in the 79th minute of the match. Bloodthirsty FC were furious when Patrik Mikaelsson was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute, one of Bloodthirsty FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bloodthirsty FC. Aleksander Smefeldt had in the 92ndth minute some difficulties stopping Ronny Hendriks's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Floris Talsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Aleksander Smefeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Floris Talsma to maneuver through the defense. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
