The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Winthont FC's Lucas Uebels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Bâru in the 8th minute of play. Filip Mirciulescu made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Roger Wijngaart sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Ronny Hendriks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winthont FC's Lucas Uebels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Bâru in the 25th minute of play. Carlo Vonk hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Marian Morovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filip Mirciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niels Schirring, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Vonk to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Sandu Bâru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandu Bâru struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Lucas Uebels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BVB 09. In the 44th match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Ciocâltea to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Ronny Hendriks in the 45th minute really tested Filip Mirciulescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Filip Mirciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Wijngaart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filip Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Wijngaart in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Wijngaart to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Wijngaart in the 52nd minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iacob Martinescu charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iacob Martinescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Martinescu. After 55 minutes of play, Winthont FC's Roger Wijngaart made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Mirciulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Hendriks. Winthont FC's Lucas Uebels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Bâru in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Winthont FC's Ronny Hendriks got a free kick in the 60th minute. Niels Schirring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mirciulescu having to interfere. Filip Mirciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Wijngaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Filip Mirciulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Wijngaart's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Winthont FC's Roger Wijngaart got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferry Hof sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niels Schirring struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Filip Mirciulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winthont FC. The supporters of BVB 09 booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard de Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Winthont FC's zone, Sandu Bâru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Uebels came out of the goal and Sandu Bâru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when BVB 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Vieru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 91 minutes, Niels Schirring mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winthont FC and the BVB 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Niels Schirring. Roger Wijngaart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mirciulescu having to interfere. Ferry Hof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Filip Mirciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
