The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agostinho Guedes was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Abeitia in the 54th minute of the match. When Joaquin Romelio fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuberbühler FC's protests and gave Joaquin Romelio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Joaquin Romelio got a free kick in the 56th minute. Laerte Marquez's late challenge caught a Zuberbühler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laerte Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Laerte Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
