Alex Vieru was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Sandu Bărbânță got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Filip Mirciulescu. Olimpiu Teodorescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Filip Mirciulescu made a huge save. 22 minutes into the game, Augustin Arbore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BVB 09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cosula-BTF- the free kick. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Augustin Arbore got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olimpiu Teodorescu. The wind increased when Petruț Dugulescu made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Petruț Dugulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Petruț Dugulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Ciocâltea hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when BVB 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Arbore didn't get a good kick on the ball.
