A nice corner shot did that Steevy Gury got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Héctor Gaviria quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Héctor Gaviria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Hao Jian Yuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Héctor Gaviria was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eustaquio Dabi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Héctor Gaviria having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the game Pablo Raymond made a throw-in which Eustaquio Dabi played forward. Héctor Gaviria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sylwester Dankowski's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Marcial Odol hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Héctor Gaviria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hao Jian Yuan's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Dabi in the 32nd minute of play forced River Plate.'s goalkeeper Héctor Gaviria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

River Plate.'s Héctor Gaviria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Gabrio in the 56th minute of play. River Plate.'s Héctor Gaviria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save River Plate. from getting a goal against them. Héctor Gaviria made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Hao Jian Yuan sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, River Plate.'s goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gabrio came free, but Héctor Gaviria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match, Isidro Gabrio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Héctor Gaviria saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 68th minute Cristian Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, River Plate.'s goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gabrio came free, but Héctor Gaviria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidro Gabrio in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Héctor Gaviria saved River Plate. from getting behind. If Prudencio Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
