Stein Naas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daddy Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Aurelianu in the 8th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Stein Naas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Vali Aurelianu managed to work through Legia Stavanger's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Vali Aurelianu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Thorbjørn Stølen hit a great ball. Stein Naas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 梅轩宇 in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Cosor to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Florin Cosor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stein Naas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Cosor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stein Naas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Voican in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, one of Legia Stavanger:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Legia Stavanger. Traian Ionașcu walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Stein Naas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daddy Gol's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. When Remus Voican came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Voican couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Florin Cosor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stein Naas. Legia Stavanger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Cosor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Stein Naas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daddy Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Florin Cosor notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Legia Stavanger's Stein Naas. Stein Naas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remus Voican to strike the kick off in the second half. Stein Naas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daddy Gol in the 51st minute of the match. Florin Cosor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stein Naas came out and tried to block the shot, but Florin Cosor slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 53rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Stein Naas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Stein Naas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Cosor went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Remus Voican dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. The crowd rose to their feet as Remus Voican kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stein Naas. That made the score 0-11 in the 73 minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Remus Voican nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stein Naas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. 82 minutes into the game, Remus Voican recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stein Naas. Remus Voican showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14. Stein Naas came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Daddy Gol. But to his dismay, Daddy Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. Remus Voican took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stein Naas. Stein Naas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-16. Stein Naas came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nistor Predescu. But to his dismay, Nistor Predescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18.
