ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Recep Talha Uçhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Toro in the 3rd minute of play. The throw-in from Eugenio Furman in the 4th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Mansur Süvarioğlu. Recep Talha Uçhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Cordareo in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Recai Özbal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo the free kick. A collision led to ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Recai Özbal hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Celedonio Cordareo made a precise shot to the right of Recep Talha Uçhan. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 16 minutes of play, San Lorenzo's Delmiro Tabor made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Recep Talha Uçhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Özgür Göktürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Oidor having to interfere. Delmiro Tabor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Recep Talha Uçhan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Recep Talha Uçhan came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo's Celestino Toro. But to his dismay, Celestino Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Özgür Göktürk came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özgür Göktürk couldn't finish the play. Recep Talha Uçhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Cordareo in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match, Celestino Toro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Recep Talha Uçhan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In a very dangerous position, a player in ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! In the 38th minute, Delmiro Tabor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 43rd minute Celedonio Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Talha Uçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Özgür Göktürk was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Freddy Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahir Buyrukalp kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Celedonio Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Recep Talha Uçhan having to interfere. In the 70th minute Celestino Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Talha Uçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recai Özbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ got a freekick which was hit by Özgür Göktürk. In the 80th minute Celestino Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Recep Talha Uçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Lorenzo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Vecdet Koçyiğit scored to the left of an out of position Anier Oidor, making the score, 4-2. Anier Oidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vecdet Koçyiğit, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Urki to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Ferhat Tan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Oidor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Göktürk in the 92nd minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Anier Oidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Ozan Durcan. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. San Lorenzo fully deserved thier win.
