The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giannis Nekos during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of 拜耳04勒沃库森 booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Nekos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 minutes, 邱凡辉 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 拜耳04勒沃库森 and the Seahawks V55 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes 拜耳04勒沃库森 got a freekick which was hit by 邱凡辉. After 44 played minutes 拜耳04勒沃库森 got a freekick which was hit by 周烽宁. After a defensive mix-up in 拜耳04勒沃库森's zone, Thanos Kalfoglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 冰谷 姚明 came out of the goal and Thanos Kalfoglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 周烽宁 made a kick off. Periklis Asimakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 白然骏 went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 54th minute, 白然骏 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 拜耳04勒沃库森 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 58 minutes into the match, 曹崇星 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Periklis Asimakis. Seahawks V55's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 曹崇星 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Periklis Asimakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 周烽宁 in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 白然骏 in the 72nd minute of play forced Seahawks V55's goalkeeper Periklis Asimakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 楚文洋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 拜耳04勒沃库森 made a substitution. 麦德松 replaced 孙锋. Periklis Asimakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 周烽宁 went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 拜耳04勒沃库森's 邓乐翔 was substituted for 白然骏. After some careless play in the Seahawks V55 defense, 郭朗俊 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Periklis Asimakis. The Seahawks V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Periklis Asimakis should have stopped the shot. Sakis Kritikos hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 拜耳04勒沃库森's 邓乐翔 got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Seahawks V55 defense, 邓乐翔 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Periklis Asimakis. The Seahawks V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Periklis Asimakis should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 拜耳04勒沃库森 had played much better football throughout.
