The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 柳振震's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Oleszak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Roman Oleszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 周烽宁, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 16 minutes of play, 拜耳04勒沃库森's 楚文洋 made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Oleszak was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute 曹崇星 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Oleszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, MKS MŁAWA's goal looked a bit too open when 周烽宁 came free, but Roman Oleszak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frankie Fabra hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes MKS MŁAWA got a freekick which was hit by Tolek Mochadlo. In the 30th minute, 周烽宁 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 麦德松 in the 30th minute of play forced MKS MŁAWA's goalkeeper Roman Oleszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 卓弘鹰 hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 冰谷 姚明 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Ikalewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 楚文洋 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Oleszak having to interfere. When Tolek Mochadlo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS MŁAWA's protests and gave Tolek Mochadlo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MKS MŁAWA's Tolek Mochadlo got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, MKS MŁAWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariusz Mroczynski to maneuver through the defense. August Bruhn kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariusz Mroczynski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes MKS MŁAWA got a freekick which was hit by Grzegorz Dziewulski. Roman Oleszak was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and 楚文洋 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 楚文洋 really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. 柳振震 charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 柳振震 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MKS MŁAWA booed when 拜耳04勒沃库森 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. 柳振震 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 楚文洋 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Oleszak having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 白然骏 in the 66th minute of play forced MKS MŁAWA's goalkeeper Roman Oleszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 拜耳04勒沃库森's 柳振震 came free and shot a quick shot against goal 68 minutes in the game, fortunately Roman Oleszak had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 拜耳04勒沃库森 were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after MKS MŁAWA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 贺奕晨 took the corner. 冰谷 姚明 came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by MKS MŁAWA's Mariusz Mroczynski. But to his dismay, Mariusz Mroczynski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. MKS MŁAWA's Roman Oleszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 周烽宁 in the 77th minute of play. 拜耳04勒沃库森's 曾建乐 was substituted for 周烽宁. 84 minutes into the game, 曾建乐 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Roman Oleszak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ksawery Ikalewicz in the 89th minute of play forced 拜耳04勒沃库森's goalkeeper 冰谷 姚明 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Roman Oleszak successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Roman Oleszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曾建乐 in the 92nd minute of play. 楚文洋 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Oleszak having to make a save.
